How to Incorporate Essential oils into your day and your yoga practice

I have always loved using these oils to support my yoga practice. The oils help assist in our yoga journey, deepening your practise and fantastic for bringing you into the present moment.
How I use my essential oils
- Cupping a few drops into the palm of your hand and slowly inhaling its scent.
- Diffusing with an essential oil diffuser.
- Add to the bath, or to a water spray for cleaning or enhancing the smell of the room.
- Add a few drops to make a lovely toner for your skin
Some essential oils induce uplifting and invigorating effects, others are more calming.
The Yoga kit is my favourite, consisting of 3 blends Arise, Anchor and Align. Arise is an uplifting, joyful and encouraging aroma.
Today I’m having a bath including lemon, grapefruit and basil essential oil. The smell is amazing.
Lemon is cleansing, purifying, and invigorating.
Grapefruit helps uplift mood and is also renowned for its cleansing and purifying properties and is frequently used in skin care for its ability to promote the appearance of clear, healthy-looking skin.
Basil helps to keep the skin looking clean, clear, and healthy.
The combination of all three, provides an uplifting start to my day and will provide additional benefits to my skin.
I relax and soak in this beautiful bath, remembering that what I place on my skin is absorbed into my body. Such a gentle and easy way to incorporate DoTERRA Essential Oils into my day.
